Mo Waterfall

Mơ Waterfall, located in Cu Thang commune, Thanh Son district, is approximately 120km away from Hanoi, with convenient transportation for tourists.

From the center of the commune, after traveling about 3km on a gravel road, visitors will reach the space of Mơ Waterfall and immerse themselves in the pristine natural environment of the primeval forest. The waterfall is surrounded by mountains with a rich and diverse system of native flora. Looking up from the foot of the waterfall, one can see the sunlight shining through each water stream, spreading over the granite rock slopes, resembling a sparkling crystal-colored painting.

Mơ Waterfall consists of 9 different layers, yet it is a cohesive and interconnected entity, like the bond between heaven and earth. The gentle flow of the waterfall is as smooth and soft as the flowing hair of a young girl. The path leading to the waterfall is adorned not only with ancient trees but also densely covered with climbing plants. Climbing along the uneven rock walls, these forest vines become a secure foothold, and occasionally, the water droplets lingering on fallen leaves resemble rainforest drops, enhancing the cool and refreshing atmosphere in the mountainous forest. As visitors ascend, they may feel as if they are drawn into a mysterious story, surrounded by a tranquil space with the mountains blending with the roaring sound of the waterfall, and the water mist creating a mystical and dreamlike ambiance.

After exploring the landscape, visitors can pause and immerse themselves in the cool stream water, rest in stilt houses, and savor local specialties such as jungle fowl, hill chicken, and sticky rice. Mơ Waterfall paints a picturesque and idyllic scene, portraying a simple and intimate connection with nature and the local people.
