Hanoi – Tam Dao 2 days 1 night

INTRODUCTION TO TAM DAO

Tam Dao tourist area is known as one of the great resorts in the North. With an altitude of more than 900m above sea level, the climate is cool all year round. Tam Dao is considered the second Da Lat of Vietnam and has a rich and diverse ecosystem. The tourist area is small and pretty with winding and winding roads, a stream like a streak of water flowing across all four seasons.

DAY 01: HANOI – TAY THIEN – TAM DAO

07:30: Depart from Hanoi to visit Tam Dao.

09:00: Arrive at Tay Thien scenic area. Take a walk to visit the Great Mandala Stupa modeled after the Indian style. Then visit Thong temple with a nine-root banyan tree. You can choose 1 of 2 options:

Option 1: You walk to visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery, one of the schools for Buddhist monks and nuns in our country. Visit the Drum Tower, the Bell Tower, classrooms…

Option 2: Conquer Tay Thien peak. You sit on the cable car to admire the majestic mountains and forests of Tay Thien, and see Bac Waterfall from the cable car cabin. Reaching the top of the cable car, you continue to conquer Tay Thien peak with a series of works such as: Co Chin Temple, Mau Dia Temple, Thuong Quoc Mau Temple, To Temple, a Zen Master’s nest, Tay Thien Pagoda and finally conquer the Tien Chessboard on the top of Tay Thien and many other works (with Tay Thien cable car ticket).

12:00: Lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, you continue to take the car to Tam Dao.

14:00: Arriving in Tam Dao, you will visit and take pictures of the beautiful scenery around the town such as: Tam Dao Central Square, colorful neighborhood with unique architecture; Take pictures with Tam Dao Stone Church with unique architecture built between 1906 and 1912, located in the center of Tam Dao town, on the road leading to the top of Thien mountain.

15:00: You will visit:

Tam Dao Silver Waterfall: The road leading down to Silver Waterfall is not too long, but steep and steep. To get here, you have to climb the green stone steps. The road is opened in the mountain, one side is the mountain, the other side is the abyss.
Tam Dao Wind Cafe: An extremely famous cafe here to sip a cup of hot coffee and admire the majestic and poetic scenery of this land.

19:00: Dinner. Free evening to relax, enjoy the fresh and cool air in Tam Dao town at night. Overnight in Tam Dao town.

DAY 02: DISCOVER TAM DAO – HANOI

07:30: Have breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you can choose:

Tam Dao Heaven Gate is one of the places not to be missed when you travel to Tam Dao. Because it is located at a very high position, from here, you can admire and explore the entire magical beauty of this small, misty commune.

Conquer the TV tower, which is more than 1,400m above sea level, by climbing 1,400 stone steps leading to Thien Nhi peak. Feel the feeling of a person conquering the peak, taking a deep breath of the cool, fresh air of Tam Dao. Visit the temple of the Lady of the Upper Realm on the way to conquer the TV tower.

11:00: You are at the hotel to check out.

12:00: Lunch at the restaurant.

14:00: End of the tour at Tam Dao commune, you return to Hanoi. See you soon!
